The online course for ‘Safeguarding Children’ helps to provide important information and knowledge to healthcare workers. This knowledge can be used to help toward gaining the ‘Care Certificate’. It can be taken as part of the ‘Care Certificate: Full Package’.
This course is ideal for all staff throughout the health and social care sector, in particular new starters and existing employees as a refresher.
Safeguarding children and young people is everyone's responsibility, and the healthcare assistant and the assistant practitioner (HCA and AP) have to play their part in ensuring children and young people are safe.
